Willingness to travel to job sites over the United States to Airport job sites.

  • Ability to follow electrical code manuals to install and repair electrical systems
  • Understand schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications required
  • Experience working with hand tools, power tool and electronic test equipment
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation
  • High standard of integrity and professionalism
  • Drug free at all times
  • Airfield Electrical experience
  • Constant Current Regulator
  • Series Circuits
  • L-824C, #8 5kV Cable, and connectors
  • L-868, Load bearing can installation
  • Flush runway lighting
  • Rapid set concrete installation
  • Runway and Taxiway lighting
  • Runway night work
  • FAA Electrical Experience:
    • Glide Slopes
    • Localizers
    • PAPIs & REILS
    • MALSR Approach Lights
    • ALSF II Approach Lights
    • ASR Radar Towers
    • FAA 19e Grounding Specifications
  • Diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
